PicsArt, a leading image editing app, and creative community have launched the so-called PicsArt Remix Chat. PicsArt is a free app that allows editing photos and creating beautiful collages with its 3000+ editing features and special effects. It’s not just another photo editing app. It’s rather a big family of creatives with now over 85 million monthly active users worldwide. The app is available in 20 languages and is free on iOS, Android, and Windows devices.
So many features and effects, what else could cross PicsArt creators’ minds? Well, this time they have decided to revolutionize the way people chat, edit photos and share them. Thus, the Remix Chat is a whole new way of doing group chat and editing photos within a community. According to PicsArt, the old photo sharing is gone. It’s now time to send a picture to some friends (you can send photos to up to 50 people in one group chat), and start editing it together.
The trick is that as soon as you send a picture through Remix Chat, everyone in that chat can remix it. They can do it by using PicsArt’s tools, filters, effects, and masks and more than 10,000 stickers. They can then send the remixed photo back. Someone else could remix that photo and send it to other friends. This way you can edit and send photos on and on.
Using the Remix Chat is quite easy. You need to do the following:
- Download the latest version of the PicsArt app
- Tap on the pink plus sign at the bottom
- Select a picture to edit
- When done, tap on the arrow in the top right corner
- Tap on “Save Private” if you want to save your creation privately
- Press “Post” if you want it to go public
- Tap on “Send Direct Message,” enter your friends’ usernames and tap on the pink arrow icon
Not only iOS but also Android users can use the Remix Chat. It will soon be available on Windows too. The countries where the feature works are the US, UK, Germany, France, Poland, Spain, Japan, Italy, Austria, Canada, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
Also, note that the release of this Remix feature is second to the one released in 2016. At that time, the company introduced a new feature by which the users could discover and remix/edit images from other creatives.
